With a Business Management degree, Kathleen has developed several businesses in the
insurance and investment industry. Her expertise in marketing, product development,
productivity, business strategy and sales serves her as she helps women to develop
their full potential. She has used this background to build Joy2theWorld from the
ground up, empowering women in Ghana and using her skills as a catalyst for their
business and community development. Kathleen is a member of California Women Lead
and received the 2009 Annual Award for Community Service. Kathleen is also a member
of the International Rotary Club. An award-winning speaker, Kathleen motivates her
audiences to see what is possible and inspires them to make a difference.

Khandan Farjadi has been a part of Joy2theWorld from
the very beginning.  Her journey of global leadership started in 2007 as a project
for a year-long training program, taking her to places like Medie in Ghana, Africa.
  Attending the meetings with the village elders and the local business women, Khandan
has been given an intimate view of the profound difference the act of contribution can
make. Khandan’s commitment is to foster the improvement of the quality of life for the
women and the children of Ghana.  Today, she works as a Sales Trainer for a Fortune 500
company while supporting this non-profit in her spare time.

Executive Director Matthew Brady

Matthew has played a significant part in the success of
Joy2theWorld since 2010. He visited Joy2theWorld as a volunteer,
then again as a consultant and now as Executive Director.
Matthew lives in Minnesota when he is not on tour with his
band New Medicine. He works closely with the
Ghanaian staff – often communicating by email while “on the road” –
to promote the success of the micro loan program. When Matthew
is in Ghana, he slips right into the culture, speaking Twi and making
friends. Matthew’s business skills and his attention to details
create a standard of excellence that all the team appreciates.
In addition, Matthew brings creativity and action to our fundraising
programs throughout the year.
